Rock Climbing

Cost: £45 per person per day.
Courses start at 9am and finish around 4pm

Our courses are designed to introduce you to the exciting world of rock climbing in some of the most popular areas in the country. Collectively, we offer over 40 years of experience on some of the best rock in the sport. Obviously, safety is a very important aspect and our instructors will teach you in a fun and methodical style to unsure you get the absolute best instruction. We offer a range of climbing courses, both indoor and outdoor.

Outdoor coursesAre designed to introduce you to the many varied aspects of ‘real’ rock; away from the chalky atmosphere of plastic and plywood. Our instructors are passionate about the environment and will include valuable instruction on many of these issues so you can get the most from your outdoor climbing experiences.

1 or 2 day intro to Rock climbing Learn new skills or transfer your newly acquired skills to the outdoors!
Our Course content includes:
- Rope work.
- Equipment.
- Knots and tying onto the rope.
- Belaying.
- Guide book interpretation.
- Environmental issues.                                                     Diary

1 day = £45 per person

2 day = £90 per person

If you are a CWA/CWLA award holder, and wish to progress on to SPA, this course can be used to help further your knowledge on climbing on real rock. Click HERE  to see what the awards are all about.

1 or 2 day intro to Leading: Whether you wish to be introduced to "Sport" or "Trad" (Traditional) climbing.
We have courses to suite.

On these courses you will be introduced to:
- The types of equipment used in leading.
- Rope work.
- Route identification.
- Guide book interpretation.
- Belay devices and uses, from above and below.
- Abseiling.
- Crag safety.

Location: Wye Valley, Staffordshire, Peak District, and North Wales.

1 day = £45 per person

2 day = £90 per person

Rope skills for climbers: This day is designed to expand your knowledge and experiences, when working with ropes.
The day will include:
- The use of different knots.
- Single and half rope systems.
- Extra belaying techniques and devices.
- Other rope uses.
- How to look after your ropes.
- Escaping the system as a leader.                                  Diary
Location: Wye Valley, Staffordshire, Peak District, and North Wales. 


This course is also suited for those who are thinking of joining, or have already joined the SPA

Our indoor courses: are designed for everyone, from complete beginner, including bouldering and movement coaching for all ages; up to more experienced climbers that are looking to ‘push their grade’ to the next level. Our Competence Courses follow a structured syllabus that include how to belay, basic knots, equipment and movement coaching.
Fancy learning to lead indoors? We can help you out. We are running indoor leading sessions designed to teach you all the skills and techniques you need, to lead safely and confidently at indoor climbing walls.
Location: Worcester and Birmingham.
Minimum of 2 people required.
